POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Associate is a pivotal role in delivering impactful outcomes for clients. Working closely with Consultants, Senior Associates help design and execute elements of Ignite’s strategic planning methodology, ensuring alignment with client goals. They are deeply involved in both supporting and leading specific project deliverables, providing value through their insights, expertise, and ability to manage day-to-day project workflows.

This role is designed to help you grow into a Consultant position within two years, offering exposure to high-level decision-making, client management, and leadership development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn and apply the Ignite Methodology in strategy facilitation and solution development for clients in alignment with their organizational goals.
  • Support and lead client engagements, including the following :
  • With the support of Ignite’s Associate team, develop materials for client workshops and presentations, synthesizing insights and recommendations into compelling reports and slides.
  • Act as the primary liaison between project teams and clients, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and contributing to the long-term success of client relationships.
  • Lead some client meetings and facilitated sessions.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to Ignite’s clients, offering insights and solutions that address their most pressing business and leadership challenges.
  • Support Associates, fostering the growth of their skill sets and ensuring high quality outputs.
  • Participate in internal initiatives to support the growth and development of Ignite’s people, processes, and business.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or related field; MBA or special designation (CPA or CPHR) a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting or a related field, with a proven track record of driving project success and producing high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Business acumen with a focus on strategy, leadership, and / or organizational design.
  • The ability to distill complex ideas into actionable insights, with high conceptual and analytical reasoning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships, lead client discussions, and guide internal teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to influence and inform at all levels.
  • Endless curiosity and a penchant for thinking outside the box; a desire for continuous growth.
  • Able to work in Canada and USA (through citizenship or work visa).
  • Humility, optimism, and discipline.

    Total Compensation : $90,000 - $115,000 ( Base : $85,000-100,000, Bonus : Up to 15%)
