Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Application Developer

This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.

You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.

We will be expected in the office weekly days depending on the team requirement.

Job Description :

Enterprise Portal platform offers innovative portal technology solutions for Client Institutional Client Group. It plays a crucial role to the success of Client Velocity and Client Direct and several other client and employee facing portals. The overall objective of this role is to analyze, design and implement BAU features, plus technology innovations to support and enhance business expansion on the portal platform.

Responsibilities :

• Own and be responsible for end-to-end development of the projects / programs assigned
• Deliver high-quality software programs adhering to standards and be involved in design reviews, program specifications review
• Participate in all stages of the SDLC as well as provide operational support on applications to business users
• Work both independently, with other team members, and across teams in different time zones
• Collaborate with stakeholders and work closely with various technology groups & vendors to be able to drive a standard framework for development processes
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Be a lead from the front, get down and work with team and understand the problem and bring to a resolution
