Summary of the role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual, ready to evolve in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in managing our supplier network to ensure the stability of our operations.

Responsabilities

  • Sourcing and Procurement : Assist the Director of Logistics and Purchasing in sourcing high-quality materials, equipment, and services to meet operational needs.
  • Supplier Evaluation : Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery performance, and provide recommendations.
  • RFP : Support the RFP process to ensure competitive pricing and high standards for products and services.
  • Negotiation : Assist in negotiating favorable terms and pricing with vendors to maximize value.
  • Inventory Collaboration : Work with inventory teams to monitor trends and forecast purchasing needs.
  • Performance Tracking : Track purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance metrics; prepare reports for data-driven decision-making.
  • Compliance : Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project timelines.
  • ESG Support : Contribute to sustainability and ethical sourcing as part of the company's ESG initiatives.

Your profile

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience : 2 to 5 years in a similar role, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
  • Skills : Experience with ERP systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Languages : Bilingualism (French-English) is required, as the successful candidate will regularly interact with contacts outside of Quebec.
  • Assets : Knowledge of ISO 9001 / 14001 standards.
  • Attitude : Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation ability, autonomy, and teamwork spirit.
