JOB DESCRIPTION :
Reporting directly to the President, the General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the agency and ensuring that the agency meets its goals in terms of revenue, production, profitability, and digital strategy. The bulk of the skillset will lie in digital marketing strategies and agency management. This role requires a leader who can manage multiple marketing team members, optimize agency processes, and foster a positive work culture, all while driving the agency's growth, production, and margins. Ideally, the candidate has touched on various agency roles and formulating custom digital strategies comes naturally with a data-driven mindset and advanced organizational skills.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Operational Leadership :
- Agency Operations Management : Oversee day-to-day operations and production, ensuring smooth execution of all agency projects, from customer strategy to fulfillment. Monitor timelines, budgets / profit margins, and client satisfaction.
- Production Management : Work closely with production management to ensure resources are available and delivery dates can be met.
- Product Evolution : Assure staff is implementing the latest digital strategies by empowering training on new methods and deploying advanced training with the latest digital trends.
- Resource Allocation : Manage the agency's resources, including budgets and tools, to optimize performance and meet deadlines effectively.
- Budgeting and Financial Analysis : Prepare and manage the agency’s budget, ensuring effective cost control and profitability. Work directly with the CEO / CFO to ensure profitability and margins are in line.
- Revenue Growth : Oversee sales team targets, client acquisition strategies, and retention programs to ensure the agency hits revenue goals.
2. Client Management :
- Client Retention : Develop strategies for attracting and retaining mid to large size clients, building long-term relationships, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Quality Control : Ensure all agency deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with client expectations.
- Problem-Solving : Address any client issues or concerns, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain positive client relationships.
3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting :
- KPIs and Metrics : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, financials, client satisfaction, and team productivity.
- Reporting : Provide regular reports to the CEO and President on operational performance and project status.
4. Strategic Planning and Business Development :
- Strategic Direction : Work closely with the executive team to define and implement long-term goals via the business plan and strategies to drive agency growth.
- Business Development : Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and participate in pitches or proposals to expand the agency’s portfolio.
Market Trends : Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing innovations to ensure the agency stays competitive.
5. Marketing and Branding :
- Brand Strategy : Work on positioning the agency's own brand in the market, aligning internal marketing efforts with external promotional activities.
- Internal Marketing : Oversee internal communications and marketing strategies to promote the agency’s culture and capabilities to clients and prospects.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in a marketing or advertising agency, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and overseeing a wide range of marketing activities (digital marketing, branding, SEO / SEM, content creation, etc.).
- A good understanding of how to apply AI tech to promote efficiency in an agency.
- Knowledge of EOS is a plus.

WORK CONDITIONS :
- Permanent position, full time, office or hybrid work;
- Base salary between $150,000 to $200,000 based on experience;
- Fast-paced and dynamic work environment;
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings or industry events.
