JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Territory Sales Manager, reporting to the General Manager, will oversee operations in Ontario and Western Canada. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, expanding the customer base, conveying client needs to the internal team, delivering presentations, overseeing service interactions, and ensuring successful equipment delivery.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Sales :
- Analyze the needs of the customer and actively support them in identifying and addressing their requirements.
- Deliver polished presentations of submissions and contract details, documents prepared by internal sales staff.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, overseeing the complete sales cycle from contract signing to delivery.
- Ensure customer's requests are properly handled by the after-sales / service support team.
- Play a key role in the development of new products and penetration into new markets.
- Collaborate closely with the internal team to assess the feasibility of new projects.
- Attend and contribute to project launch meetings.
- Regularly report on activities and progress to the General Manager.
Research and Marketing :
- Proactively identify and engage with potential new clients.
- P repare for and actively participate in various industry exhibitions within the assigned territory.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
- Stay abreast of market dynamics and competitive landscapes throughout the assigned territory.
Profil
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education / Diploma related to mechanical, electrical, business, sales or proven experience as a Key Account Manager
- Experience in the industrial market.
- Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in mechanical or electrical concepts.
- Language Proficiency : English (French is optional).
- Possesses knowledge of computer systems and business software suites.
- Very comfortable with travelling.
- Well-developed negotiations and customer service skills.
- Natural team leader and proven motivator
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Results oriented.
- High degree of autonomy and self-organization.
- Strategic mindset with the capacity to see opportunities for growth.
Informations contractuelles
WORK CONDITIONS :
- Permanent position, full time
- Around 100 000$ base salary and 150 000 to 200 000$ total based on commissions / package
