The primary objective of this role is to improve the systems, tools and capabilities within the organization pertaining to Sales and Operations Planning. As the Sales and Operations Planning Manager, you will lead and coordinate the sales and operations strategy across all Tri-Mach Group divisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare data and presentation for monthly S&OP meetings using cross functional input, that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.Coordinate and facilitate the monthly S&OP meetings to achieve the demand plan consensus including strategic, product development and sales activities, ,Work with purchasing on identifying and resolving supply chain constraints / gaps.Develop dashboards to provide transparency and single source of information across functional areasWorks with Operations Managers to ensure S&OP plan is operationalized effectively.Works with recruitment and HR to align on hiring needs across the organization.Manage S&OP activities which inform business decisions and drive improved customer service and delivery performance at the business level.Prepare data and material for monthly S&OP meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.Assist in the documentation of assumptions incorporated in the labour demand and supply plan and validate past assumptions of completed jobs.Work with Business Applications to design reports and processes that lead to simplification and enhanced business planningMonitor forecast accuracy and on-time delivery KPIsLeverage industry best practices and continuous improvement to continually enhance the S&OP processWork closely with Sales and Product Development on planning / executing the activation and ramp-up for new productsTrack performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues within S&OP processes and reporting as well as those across departments; provide insights and recommendations to help improve results.Participate in weekly production meetings to provide project status updates to all internal stakeholdersRequirements
QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, scheduling or production planningKeen understanding of supply chain and labour resource planningProject Management experience preferred and considered an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProficient with MS Office applications, such as Excel and WordWe Look Forward to Hearing from You!
