Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Our multidisciplinary team of therapists offers expertise in screening, assessment, and individualized interventions. In collaboration with schools, daycare centers, and families, our professionals provide personalized support in various areas, including anxiety, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, emotion regulation, learning disabilities, and more.
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for clients with ASD or other developmental disabilities.
As an SLP, you will utilize a comprehensive range of skills to maintain, develop, or enhance oral motor and communicative functions in a pediatric population.
Your role will involve working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment, where your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships will be a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities :
Evaluate language disorders (oral and written) and speech disorders to determine the speech therapy treatment and intervention plan for children ranging in ages from 0 to 18
Plans, implements, evaluates and adapts speech language therapy services, goals and objectives to meet the specific needs of assigned clients, using theory, principles, best practices and treatment techniques
Formal and / or informal assessment of clients’ language abilities / challenges
Preparation of written reports or the initial assessment and / or treatment plan for each client serviced
Provision of individual and / or small group intervention to clients in clinic
Maintenance of written records of the clients’ progress during intervention in the form of a daily progress note, completed after each client contact
Assists in the clinical management and supervision of CDA’s
Qualifications :
Registration with College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
Minimum 2 years of pediatric, in-center, or school-based rehabilitation service experience preferred
Experience with non-verbal learners and communication devices
Clear vulnerable sector check required
Demonstrated experience and desire to work within an interdisciplinary team
