Job descriptionA degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Min 3 years relevant site engineering experience Experience in setting out, using GPS systems, Total Stations, and proficiency with AutoCAD software General day to day running of paperwork on a site, including Method Statements and Risk Assessments preparation Clean Driving license
Office / Project Location : Swords, North Dublin
Employment Type : Permanent
Pay : €50K - €65K + transport - negotiable based on experience
Experience : 3+ years
Our client is a building and civils contractor working on Dublin Airport projects.
Duties will include :
- Job training programs
- Assisting the QS with quantities and project progress
- Attending site meetings with the construction and design teams
- Reporting progress on site to senior management
- Supporting the senior site engineer and project manager with day to day running of the project
- Acting under the senior engineer as a technical advisor on site for specialist subcontractors
- Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
- Checking plans, drawings and setting out coordination
- Overseeing quality control and the implementation of the company’s health and safety policy on site
- Preparing reports as required for senior site manager and project manager
- Having a proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
