Business Development Manager

Our Calgary client is searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with clients, and develop strategies to enhance revenue and profitability.

Your success will be defined by your ability to :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor industry news, focusing on combustion and emissions regulations, as well as emerging trends within the oil and gas sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align business strategies.
  • Lead content creation for LinkedIn presence, ensuring regular and impactful engagement.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings

Your strengths include :

  • 3+ years in a business development role within the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of combustion applications in the oil and gas sector
  • Effective research skills to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Strategic thinking with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
