Senior Leasing Professional

Rakotta Holdings, a family owned business, is looking for an experienced leasing agent. Our team is responsible for the management of high-rise apartment buildings located in the heart of downtown Montreal.As a leasing agent and lead coordinator, you’ll become the public face of our property and the key contact for our current and potential tenants.Are you friendly, sociable, self-motivated and a great team player?If you have answered yes and have experience in a similar position, this great opportunity is for you!Tasks and responsibilities :

• Meet potential tenants and schedule apartment visits and follow-ups;
• Proceed with proper verifications by following company procedures to qualify potential tenants;
• Respond to tenants’ tickets (from communication too)
• Collect monthly rent and follow-up with late payers :
• Coordinate with maintenance team regarding tenants moving in and out of building :
• Work in close collaboration with the maintenance, accounting and security teams :
• Must have an analytical mind and be capable of prioritizing tasks :
• Replace other leasing agents when on their annual vacations :
• Other related tasks.Requirements and qualifications :
• College diploma (DEC) / equivalent pertinent education (mandatory)
• Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written)
• Min 3 years experience in a similar position (required)
• Ability to multi task
• Strong people skills
• Great team member as well as excellent at working alone
• Organized and keen eye for detail
• Able to work under pressure during periods of increased work activity
• Professional and rigorous
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Knowledge of the laws of Quebec governing rental properties (asset)
• Knowledge of Hopem and Monday.Com software (asset)We offer :
