We are looking for a change and release analyst for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal

Role Overview :

The team is in charge of steering IT Risks & Production

The key missions of the department are to :

  • Define, consolidate, and steer all production indicators (KSI, SLA, etc.)
  • Coordinate major production operations like applicative releases, infrastructure changes and disaster recovery tests
  • Ensure the consistency of production practices & tools across the department and animate related communities of practices
  • Deploy and steer IT Risk Management processes, while respecting policies defined with the operational and cybersecurity risk departments
  • Manage Transversal Production transformation projects.

Key responsibilities :

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

  • Work closely with all teams to ensure good quality of production
  • track and drive the KPIs related to production
  • Manage crisis and involve manager if / when needed
  • Escalate major events and incidents to manager whenever applicable
  • Be the main relay between the different teams of the department
  • Contribute towards providing guidance, driving improvements, identifying and implementing practices to be leveraged by Chapters
  • Monthly reporting to manager on the production / change quality (KPIs & feedback)
  • Propose improvement ideas / innovation, encourage team to do so
  • Required Qualifications and Skills :

    Must Have :

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to script using VBA.
  • Strong understanding of Development cycles : SDLC, Agile, Continuous delivery
  • Expérience in Change and Release Management
  • Knowledge on MS office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment and handle and or prioritize multiple urgent tasks simultaneously across multiple time zone
  • Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills, working across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a very dynamic environment, with rapidly changing priorities
  • Rigorous, Dynamic, detail oriented, fast learning capacity and able to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Nice to Have :

  • Sig Sigma belt
  • PMP certification
  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certified
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Language :

  • English : mandatory
  • French : is a plus
