LOCATION :

    • JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • We’re seeking a Junior Mobile App Developer to help finalize the development of a mobile app that is approximately 80% complete. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in mobile app development.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with our team to complete the app, contribute to ongoing development, and prepare it for launch. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your skillset while working on a meaningful project.
  • Candidates must be located in the Metro Vancouver area. While remote work is available, the selected candidate must be able to meet in person at least once a week in Downtown Vancouver.
  • This is a contract position with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and project needs.

    • RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Work as the primary developer in the completion of the mobile app using JavaScript, React Native, and Firebase.
  • Manage app deployment on the App Store and Google Play.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of features, bug fixes, and overall app functionality.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the app operates smoothly across different devices.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint meetings, and daily development tasks.
  • Contribute to product development discussions and enhance the user experience.

    • SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred as a Developer or Software Engineer, with exposure to design, development, testing, and production support.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, React Native, and Firebase.
  • Experience with managing mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play.
  • Familiarity with UI design is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with issue tracking, product development, and version control tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be based in the Metro Vancouver area and available for weekly in-person meetings in Downtown Vancouver.
