Axxel HR is looking for a Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a leader in the distribution of commercial and institutional kitchen equipment. With ongoing expansion, they are seeking a dynamic sales professional based in Ontario to join their team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to generate leads, build strong client relationships, drive sales, and provide exceptional customer service. This position reports to the Vice President.
Responsibilities :
- Generating leads : Identify potential customers and create new sales opportunities.
- Market research & outreach : Utilize cold-calling, trade shows, and mailing lists to expand the client base.
- Product demonstrations : Present and explain product functionalities, both online and in person, to drive sales.
- Client relationship management : Maintain and develop customer connections, ensuring up-to-date contact lists.
- Sales execution : Negotiate prices, terms, and process sales transactions.
- Customer service : Address inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage returns.
- Sales monitoring : Track performance, update account details, and communicate customer demands internally.
- Industry awareness : Attend conferences, monitor competitors, and stay informed about market trends.
- Cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with internal teams to enhance sales efforts.
- Administrative duties : Maintain customer information in databases and regularly communicate with internal departments.
- Other related tasks as required by the department supervisor.
Position Requirements :
DEC / AEC or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or the hospitality industryFluency in English & French (oral and written) – a mustProficiency with MS Office Suite and various platforms (SAP B1, Web)Strong organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDetail-oriented and proactiveThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company in a dynamic industry.
