We’re looking for a school bus mechanic to join our mechanical team in Drummondville.

Mechanics will be called upon to…

  • Repair and maintain school buses;
  • Perform road tests;
  • Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders;
  • Perform paint and finishing repairs;
  • Follow-up on the Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP);
  • Compile parts lists for repairs and keep inventory up to date;
  • Monitor warranties;
  • Issue parts release slips on work orders;
  • Organize workshop (equipment, store);
  • Research technical documentation;
  • Clean work and wash areas;
  • Install radio, camera and GPS equipment on new vehicles;
  • Detect mechanical problems;
  • Any other related task

    • SCHEDULE

  • Monday to Friday
  • Full time, permanent

    • SALARY

  • From $ / hour depending on experience and skills

    • Requirements

  • 3 years experience in heavy vehicle mechanics;
  • DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of diesel mechanics;
  • Knowledge of electric propulsion;
  • Knowledge of Cummins, Wabco, Outlook and Allison software;
  • Knowledge of hydraulic brakes.
  • PEP card (an asset);
  • Valid Canadian work permit.
