The ideal candidate will possess strong people management skills, extensive experience in achieving excellent security outcomes, and a proven ability to manage risk profiles and elevate security postures. In this role, you will be expected to :

  • Drive the development and execution of our global security strategy for both our platform and corporate environments, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, prioritize and advocate for the security practices that support Coveo’s business goals, encourage innovation, and emphasize efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team that cares about the business and maintains excellent collaboration with all departments.
  • Serve as Coveo’s key advisor to the executive team and board on cybersecurity matters, including risk management, incident management, compliance & governance.
  • Collaborate with and influence multiple business functions, including nurturing close relationships with R&D & IT to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and industry standards.

Here is what will qualify you for the role :

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, in a technology or software company, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and a proven track record building and executing on a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire accountability and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Extensive knowledge of various information security management frameworks and the critical thinking necessary to decide how to apply them to serve different business cases.
