Job description

Company Background :

TekRek is assisting our client partner to recruit an experienced Contract Product Manager. This is a fully remote role and ideally Canadian-based. Our client, is a growth stage firm, with strong unit economics, that is introducing an open-banking platform for digital businesses that connects tools and financial insights that automates many administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Being a core team player for new product development and functional enhancements.
  • Getting hands on with turning the product vision and market research outcomes into a digital solution with desirable UX / UI design.
  • Working closely with cross functional teams on planning and understanding the business and user needs.
  • Collaborating with technology experts and business partners for design and development
  • Liaising with the software development team to create technical requirements and deliverables;

Qualifications

  • Have 5-9+ years experience in the product management field with a strong portfolio that showcases a deep knowledge of human-centered design
  • Familiar with UX research methodology and able to execute.
  • You care deeply about all aspects of digital products, from concepts and product thinking, building roadmaps to UX and UI design.
  • Experience in the financial services sector would be ideal.
  • You’re known for being detail oriented while keeping an eye on the big picture
  • Strong communicator who is comfortable presenting to your team and to customers
