Job Title :   Lab Applications Specialist

Location(s) :   Calgary, AB

Job Description :

  • We are seeking SCON in Lab Applications (Empower, Biovia, Labware, MODA) and it is a global leader in technology services and consulting.

Required Skills :

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ontario or Calgary or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

    • Skills :

  • 5+ years experience on Lab Applications(Empower, Biovia, Labware, MODA)
  • Application troubleshooting and maintenance(l2 / l3) experience on web applications built on .NET framework and COTS applications.
  • Knowledge on handling Incidents, Problems, Change and Release management process and Service catalogues.
  • Development / Troubleshooting Experience on SQL.
  • Understanding of Microsoft IIS / Web services.
  • Familiar with Life Science (Pharma domain) would be added advantage.
  • Experience on supporting Windows based applications.
  • Knowledge on SQL, Service-Now and Web Services will be must.
