Job descriptionPerform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components Utilize all technical support resources (such as operator, parts, and maintenance manuals, How Factory, in troubleshooting, determining procedures, and identifying parts needed for repair Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports Perform all tasks in a manner fully consistent with Safety practices and procedures Advise supervisors of situations that may impact a customer relationship Provide accurate and sufficient information on all required documents 310T Certification or 421A Red Seal Certification Asset Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling A high level of dexterity Drive motor vehicles Experience with aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes; or construction, mining, farm equipment such as excavators, skid steers, dozers or tractors; aircraft and aerospace or ground support equipment (AGE / GSE) or similar is nice to have Previous mechanic and / or equipment service experience Education in mechanics, electrical or hydraulic systems
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced mechanic to join their team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with experience working on electrical and hydraulic components, including the ability to read schematics.
