Responsibilities
Assisting with project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control
Reviewing drawings
Coordinating work specific scope / trades
Verifying material quantities, hours, and rates
Participating in project meetings
Submit requests for information
Inputting / Updating deficiency logs
Producing as-built drawings
Performing quantity takeoffs
Conduct safety inspections
Communicating changes with craft personnel
Setting up / Maintaining record keeping
Adhoc duties as required
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical or civil major.
Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated.
Working Conditions :
Successful applicants must be able to provide their own CSA approved steel toed boots and be willing to take and pass a Pre-Access Alcohol & Drug Test.
Our Fabrication Facility is not easily accessible by public transportation so the successful applicant will need access to a vehicle.
