The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring global consistency and regional relevance for Virtuoso products and marketing activities.
This role is responsible for supporting global initiatives and developing regional strategies to drive brand awareness and optimize returns for Virtuoso programs., The Sr. Marketing Manager actively participates in the strategic development and execution of the regional annual business plan / Playbook and budget.
This position will be focused on delivering design and communication inputs that tailor product and marketing portfolios to meet regional needs and opportunities. The Sr. Marketing Manager will lead marketing and product initiatives designed to deliver positive financial returns while enhancing member and supplier engagement.
This role requires effectively championing the Virtuoso brand, product portfolio, and supporting the growth and health of the marketable (compliant) database., It involves ensuring that key performance indicators (KPI’s) are met / exceeded, and margins are optimized. Additionally, this position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company and network’s understanding of the market and identifying its opportunities.
This position has dual reporting and will report to VP Product Marketing & Strategy and the General Manager Canada.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure regional adherence to Virtuoso brand guidelines.
- Provide strategic input into the Canada regional Playbook and budget, ensuring expected outcomes are met.
- Develop annual marketing plans and opportunity guides in collaboration with global marketing team to maximize investment with Virtuoso and partner ROI. Work with GM and Account Director, Partner Relations to establish annual strategies for the market and determine commercial approach for existing and prospective partners.
- Analyze non-preferred production reports and propose strategies on how to boost production through marketing initiatives.
- Cultivate strategies which promote shared value and boost member participation in Virtuoso marketing and activities for the win-win-win.
- Provide reviews and recommendations relative to market and quality of Virtuoso products to regional and global teams.
- Oversee regional communication implementation with respect to public relations, Branding and product marketing activities.
- Partner with global marketing and PR teams to develop regional strategies for Canada that ensure market relevance, effectiveness, alignment, competitive insights, and communicate Virtuoso’s business leadership position.
- Provide local market intelligence to partners so they can better understand the agencies in-market to increase engagement and marketing opportunities.
- Manage marketing, , and product margins in accordance with the Playbook and budget.
- Ensure compliance with the Virtuoso “Playbook”.
- As needed, collaborate with global Event Content, Communications and Product Marketing teams as well as regional Event Operations to support the successful delivery of events, ensuring materials and content are on brand.
