The West Vancouver Community Services Department is currently seeking a Casual Lifeguard / Instructor I to join our highly qualified team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for lifesaving functions and lesson instruction, including specialized areas.
Additional responsibilities include performing basic maintenance functions and customer service.
To be successful, candidate must be 16 years or older and have successfully completed courses in lifesaving, swimming instruction and first aid.
Required current Licenses and Certificates include :
- Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Instructor;
- National Lifeguard Pool Certificate;
- Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED (or equivalent).
The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check with vulnerable sector and a copy of their credentials.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and must be available to attend a mandatory screening session on Monday, December 11 from 5 : 00 8 : 00 p.m .
