Electrical Design Engineer – Aerospace

Are you an ambitious Electrical Engineer looking to launch your career in the aerospace industry ?

We are seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join a team and work on cutting-edge electrical and electro-optical hardware for aerospace applications.

You will get to further your skills in the following areas :

  • Designing and developing electronic hardware circuits for aerospace projects.
  • Creating electrical schematics, BOMs, and PCB designs using industry-standard tools.
  • Supporting the generation of hardware and electro-optical system requirements and design documentation.
  • Assisting with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of hardware systems.
  • Working cross-functionally with systems, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless development.
  • Participating in failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions .
  • Supporting design reviews, qualification testing, and first article inspections (FAI) .

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Electro-Optical Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of relevant hardware / electrical design experience.
  • Ability to work with ITAR / CGP restricted data .
  • Familiarity with electrical design for aerospace applications and compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-DTL-7788, DO-160G).
  • Experience with Altium Designer or similar schematic and PCB layout tools.
  • Any experience in the following would be really beneficial :

  • Knowledge of LED and incandescent lighting in airborne control panels.
  • Experience in electromagnetic compatibility, ESD, and transient immunity design .
  • Understanding of hardware manufacturing processes, avionics components, and industry standards (IPC-2221, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, etc.) .
