Job Description

As part of the NAPA Atlantic Regional Management team, the General Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth across Associate, Corporate, Joint Venture stores, and specialized segments like Automotive Service Providers. You will ensure sales targets are met while delivering an exceptional NAPA customer experience to build loyalty and long-term success.

You will be covering all 4 Atlantic provinces.

Key responsibilities :

  • Partner with Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and specialized teams to implement sales initiatives
  • Lead regional sales efforts, including prospecting for large clients and acquiring competitive banners.
  • Supervise daily sales operations, set monthly performance goals, and ensure achievement.
  • Collaborate with the General Operations Manager to deliver an unmatched NAPA customer experience.
  • Recruit, motivate, and coach Sales Managers to exceed sales objectives and provide stellar customer care.
  • Drive sales leadership development and ensure effective communication with teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Manage the annual sales budget and monitor performance against targets, identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Support national sales initiatives and oversee proper branding and marketing strategy deployment.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need :

  • 10 years of experience in the distribution sector, including 5 years in a sales management position.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken, as you will frequently collaborate with internal clients across Canada as part of your role.
  • Experience in general management of sales and operations teams.
  • Available to travel across all 4 provinces
