partner staffing on behalf of our Client we are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Project Coordinator & Lead Land Analyst based in the Grande Prairie office to manage land access regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement for projects across the Upstream Midstream Power and Renewable Energy sectors. With a primary focus on Alberta and British Columbia this role involves leading crossfunctional teams and ensuring successful project execution from initiation to completion.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination :

  • Lead and coordinate multiple land access and permitting projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules budgets and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are executed on time and within scope while meeting regulatory requirements.

Land Management & Analysis :

  • Manage land acquisition agreements and tenure processes for project development.
  • Conduct landuse analysis GIS mapping and landowner engagement.
  • Analyze land titles rights and encumbrances to ensure compliance.
  • Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement :

  • Liaise with landowners Indigenous communities government agencies and thirdparty stakeholders.
  • Obtain required permits and approvals from regulatory bodies.
  • Support environmental assessments and regulatory applications.
  • Leadership & Team Collaboration :

  • Mentor and lead junior land analysts and project staff.
  • Collaborate with engineering environmental and regulatory teams to align land strategies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years of experience in land coordination project management or regulatory analysis.
  • Proven experience in the Upstream Midstream Power and Renewable Energy sectors in Western Canada particularly Alberta and British Columbia.
  • Strong understanding of land acquisition permitting processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with GIS mapping land use assessments and environmental considerations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Land Management Environmental Science Project Management or a related field.
  • Professional designation (e.g. PLM PMP) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Indigenous consultation processes and engagement strategies.

    Responsibilities : The Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following : Attend site meetings Serve as main point of contact for the builder for any project-related questions / requests Understand project specifications and objectives Proactively identify potential issues Report on milestone dates and deliverables Respond to field issues and questions with engineering and other resources as required Investigate claims promptly and resolve them fairly Proactive approach to change orders Support and engage in a collaborative work environment Liaise with Architect, Client, Contractor, Owner, Specialty Consultants, Project Manager, Job Captain and Project Engineer Complete time critical reports including Request for Information, Contemplated Revisions, Change Orders, Field Review, Pricing Review, Progress Claim Review Issue and sign off on Site Deficiency Reports, verify and accept As Built Drawings and Operational and Maintenance Manuals and ensure all require
