We are currently seeking warehouse professionals with experience working with carpet to join our Calgary Warehouse team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate must have a reliable vehicle or confirmed transportation to work. Our warehouse is not accessible via public transit.

Primary Job Purpose

The Warehouse Administrator will assist in our Dispatch Office to coordinate the preparation of materials for transfers, pick-ups, and deliveries across all locations, including providing the warehouse team with documentation at the start of each workday. This role will involve significant responsibility in managing company inventory.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Allocate completed material to warehouse
  • Assisting visitors with pick-ups, including Installers, Service Technicians, customers, etc. and receive all required information (job#, SID#, PO# or container ID)
  • Allocate materials for upcoming jobs and create job labels if not already completed
  • Update Tracker with information on Warehouse and Delivery, including printing delivery route sheets and specifying material locations.
  • Complete daily and weekly transfer set ups to / from Rosedale to Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Regina, and Saskatoon
  • Assist with Warehouse inventory
  • Answer and direct telephone calls; take and relay messages
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing emails
  • Receive PO’s
  • Interact with Warehouse, Custom Shop and Service
  • Carpet cut sheets and organize delivery of carpet to Edmonton
  • Ensure tracking information and paperwork for Distribution is given to Distribution team

Requirements

Skills Required – Technical

  • Computer literacy and experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and inventory database systems.
  • Skills Required – Non-Technical

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure effective collaboration across departments and customer interaction.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Willingness to learn, patience and a positive attitude
  • Self-starter requiring limited supervision
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
  • Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse strongly preferred
  • Previous Customer service experience strongly preferred
  • Hours of Work : 07 : 00am to 4 : 00pm
