We are seeking a French Immersion Resource Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will support and enhance the educational experience of students in our French immersion program.

A valid Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate, or in progress Courses at the 300 / 400 level equal to 18 credits in French Two years of successful teaching experience in regular programs A Diploma in Special Education or equivalent with 30 credits of course work in the following areas : learning disabilities, behavior difficulties, intellectual disabilities and assessment, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Demonstrated fluency and facility (both oral and written) in English and the second language Ability to understand and effectively carry out general oral and written instructions with minimum supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy and tact in the explanation and exchange of information. Ability to determine, judge and select an appropriate course of action within limits of established methods and procedures.
