Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the Dentrix system.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.
- Support front office staff with administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and handling patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Experience
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred, with knowledge of pediatrics and orthodontics being a plus.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
- Experience in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for dental applications is an advantage but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
