JOBDUTIES :

Supervisecoordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare portionand servefood

Estimateand order ingredients and supplies required for mealpreparation

Preparefood order summaries for chef according to requests from dieticianspatients in hospitals or othercustomers

Establishwork schedules andprocedures

Maintainrecords of stock repairs sales andwastage

Trainstaff in job duties and sanitation and safetyprocedures

Superviseand check assembly of regular and special diet trays and deliveryof food trolleys to hospitalpatients

Ensurethat food and service meet quality controlstandards

Mayparticipate in the selection of food service staff and assist inthe development of policies procedures andbudgets

Mayplan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labourcosts.
