As part of the dynamic product development team within High Performance Connectivity, the candidate will help define, design and bring to production state-of-the-art mixed signal integrated circuits for serial communications.

The successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of silicon success and a solid understanding of analog design fundamentals plus familiarity with analog / mixed signal simulators (Spectre, VerilogA / VHDL, AMS, Ultrasim, Matlab) and lab equipment.

Understanding and capability to contribute to the overall product flow from definition to qualification is also required.

Job Qualifications :

  • MSEE with minimum of 5 years of analog design experience of high frequency / high speed blocks in CMOS and / or BiCMOS technologies
  • Demonstrated successful track record of silicon success in blocks / products such as Gbps equalizers, CDRs, PLLs, laser drivers, transimpedance amplifiers, ADCs and DACs
  • Solid understanding of analog and high frequency design fundamentals
  • Proficient with EDA design tools
  • Electromagnetic (EMX / HFSS) and system level simulators (ADS / Matlab) experience highly regarded
  • Experience with lab equipment (real-time and sampling scopes, signal and pattern generators, spectrum analyzers and VNAs) and prototype evaluation and debug
  • System knowledge of circuits and functions related to the transmission and reception of a wired or optical link is desirable (equalizers, CDR / PLL, TIA, etc.)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
