This is a superb opportunity to become an employee of CGI to provide leading information technology services to our clients. We are seeking an Intermediate ServiceNow Administrator who has a minimum of 2.5 years of IT experience.
This position is open for any of our Western Canada locations : Victoria BC, Vancouver BC, Calgary AB, Edmonton AB, Regina SK or Winnipeg MB.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
Work closely with clients, project managers, and systems management team to :
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the ServiceNow platform.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades, ensuring system stability and scalability.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.
- Manage user roles and ensure proper access controls are in place for security compliance.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise software systems.
- Automate business processes using ServiceNow's workflow and orchestration capabilities.
- Utilize scripting within ServiceNow to create automated solutions that replace manual processes.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on system performance metrics.
- Manage data import and export operations, and ensure data integrity across the platform.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Serve as the first point of contact for ServiceNow-related issues and queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure that service level agreements are met.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of ServiceNow features and functionalities.
- Develop and maintain documentation on system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features and updates, and educate the team on new capabilities that can benefit the organization.
- Participate in IT strategy planning and contribute insights on how ServiceNow can align with business goals.
- Recommend enhancements and process improvements based on trends in usage and feedback from users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the ServiceNow implementation reflects the needs and priorities of the business.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
Proven ability as a ServiceNow AdministratorBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related fieldDetailed knowledge of ServiceNow deployment, implementation, integration; ServiceNow certifications / trainingCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
