St. Anthony School is seeking full-time education assistants, effective September 1, 2024. Candidates will be capable of working collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.

The successful applicant will bring dedication, professionalism, energy and enthusiasm to the job and be willing and able to work in a variety of collaborative settings, with students with varying needs and challenges.

Education Assistant certification, and / or equivalent experience in working with children to support learning goals is preferred.??

Roles and Responsibilities Include :

• Take initiative and work collaboratively with school-based team members.
• Utilize a variety of methods and practices to support children in all areas of development.
• Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans.
• Assist in the collection of data, including observations and recording of academic and behavioural performance.
• Interact with students in a professional and effective manner.
• Participate in IEP / School-Based Team meetings as required.
