About the Project Cross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc.

general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99.
The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.
- Position Overview : This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of the project preparation and delivery, ensuring it is prepared and completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This role involves detailed planning, coordination, and monitoring of construction activities, and requires collaboration with managers, contractors, the client, the designers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination between technical design, estimating, planning, procurement teams during the preparation phase,Preparation and delivery of site establishment works and main construction activities,Develop detailed construction plans and schedules, outlining project timelines, resources, and milestones.Coordinate with project managers, designers, architects, other engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project preparation and execution.Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.Ensure procurement of goods and subcontractors in a timely manner and oversee the commercial relationship with suppliers and subcontractors,Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.Monitor project budgets and control costs, ensuring financial performance aligns with project goals.Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, challenges, and risk assessments.Manage and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.Identify and resolve construction issues, making recommendations for changes or improvements as needed.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.Implement and maintain best practices in construction management to optimize project outcomes.Education and qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in construction engineering or management, preferably within the civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.Right to work in Canada.Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration is an asset.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.Proficiency in construction management software and tools.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.Why You Should Apply
