Our Consulting Team provides specialized mineral exploration and mining consulting services in geological modelling incorporating drillhole, geological mapping, geophysical, geochemical, and geotechnical data. Our team of experts provides a wide spectrum of services such as integrated interpretation, geological model construction, software training, and advisory services.
We are seeking an experienced Geophysicist to join our Canadian consulting group. In this role, your responsibilities will include initiating and leading consulting service projects utilizing a wide range of geophysical methods to provide solutions for our customers in orebody detectability analysis, survey design, 3D constrained inversion, integrated interpretation, and drillhole targeting. As a Senior Consultant, you will interact with the local and international mineral exploration client community for project generation, project execution, and communication of results.
This position requires previous industry experience, ideally with at least one major mining or mineral exploration consulting company. Experience with three-dimensional geophysical forward modelling and constrained inversion is a requirement, as well as a successful track record in applying these methods to field data. Direct, hands-on experience with gravity, magnetic, electrical, and electromagnetic data is strongly desirable. Analysis and interpretation of rock physical properties would be regarded as a strong asset.
To fill this role, you will have strong experience working as a geophysicist in mineral exploration using 3D modelling applications and have your P.Geo. designation. Accommodating customer requests in different time zones is essential. Strong English language skills are important. Spanish and French would be great assets. Ideally, the candidate will be located in Vancouver; however, it is not essential, and we are open to a remote work model. Eligibility to work in Canada is a requirement.
We thank you for your interest in our opportunity, but only candidates selected for consideration will be contacted.
