The Corporate Services Administrator is responsible for a multitude of registrar functions which include cancellations, capital increases, file loads, terminations, capital control & registrar functions, operations special projects, and various administrative duties.

Please note :

This position isa hybird role - minimum 2 days in our Toronto office

Training will be in-office 4 days until further notice

Key Accountabilities :

Update security holder information on TranStar

Research and resolve capital control discrepancies

Process cancellation orders and NCIB cancellations / buy backs

Load records onto the system (manually and electronically)

Prepare and balance records to send out for terminations

Operations special projects including Stock Splits, Sub-Receipt & Special Warrant push outs

Handle one-sided transactions

Load / update all wire / EFT information onto the system

Maintain Capital Control & Integrity for the registrar

Handle market and treasury DRIPS through CDS

Update SIN information on Transtar

Consolidating account holder information

Must Have (s) :

Back office experience in financial feild

Good understanding of DRIP and securities

Capacity to prioritize and meet strict deadlines

Ability to analyze data, problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision

A working knowledge of the securities industry as it relates to back-office administration

A willingness and ability to adapt to a changing environment and responsibilities

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and communicate with peers and all levels of the company

Must have a flexible schedule to work overtime as required

High attention to accuracy and detail

Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

Strong proficiency with Excel, MS Word, Google Suite, and other desktop applications is a key requirement

Nice Have (s) :

Experience in Corporate actions and Transfer Agency is a Big asset

Completion of Canadian Securities Course and similar courses are preferred, but not essential

Previous experience in a trust / securities / financial environment preferred
