Dispatcher

LOCATION :  Grande Prarie, AB

DEPARTMENT :  Supply Chain

Tenaris is currently seeking an experienced Dispatcher for our growing Supply Chain department.

Responsibilities :

Plans and directs activities related to the distribution of products in the their area

Monitors and ensures product inventory levels in the field

Maintains a good working relationship with customers and suppliers in the area

Assist with yard layout and maintenance and supervises the fulfillment of Tenaris procedures

Coordinate trailer logistics

Supervise field personnel and arrange shifts

Track information regarding Q & HSE (records, statistics, certificates, training, etc.)

Ensure the correct protective and safety gear for all personnel in the field

Deploy procedures for the field for new projects

Education and Experience :

A post-secondary technical certification is required; experience will be taken into consideration instead of technical certification

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the following industries is required :

Oil and Gas

Transportation

Distribution

and / or Automotive

Experience in inventory and warehouse management is asset

Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse management, and in a supervisory position is an asset

Previous experience in Product Management an asset
