Our large, global client is experiencing tremendous growth and looking to hire a Senior Cost Analyst to focus on cost analysis, budgeting, planning and overseeing financial, cost systems.

The Senior Cost Analyst is responsible for tracking and analyzing costs associated with production operations, including materials, labor, and overhead. Overall focus will be on budgetary control systems, through the preparation, monitoring, and analyzing of cost reports, and demonstrating commitment to budget and forecast. The Senior Cost Analyst works closely with the ERP system to monitor inventory adjustments and investigate variances and interfaces with departmental and project managers to maintain accurate, updated information on cost / budgets. A detail-oriented self-starter, the Senior Cost Analyst demonstrates strong teamwork, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills to work effectively with multiple departments as well as various internal and external customers.

Job Requirements :

• University degree or Diploma in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in costing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• PowerBI knowledge would be an asset.
• General knowledge of accounting and business operations. Experience in these areas preferred.
• SYSPRO experience preferred.
• Strong auditing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must possess strong business acumen.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Must be process driven.
• Must possess strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
