Overview
Reports to : Service Manager
Shift : 7x7, 12 hours per day rotational between days and nights
Location : Prince George, BC
Relocation : This position does not offer relocation
Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair, service and inspection of the mining equipment
- Able to diagnose Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical systems. Hydraulic experience is an asset.
- Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites
- Test the repaired equipment for proper performance
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and part of a team.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson HDET or Millwright including Red Seal Certification
- 4-7 years of mining, construction, dealership experience
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals relating to manufacturer specifications and warranty environments
- Must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in mechanical systems.
- Must have no restrictions for access for any mine sites
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Hold a strong standard for quality and safety
