Bookkeeper

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team in Collingwood, Ontario. This position is integral to their operations and plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the financial records are accurate and up-to-date. As a Bookkeeper, you will be handling various financial tasks such as preparing financial reports, maintaining General Ledger, and providing assistance during audits.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable effectively
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity
• Utilize QuickBooks to collect, analyze, and summarize account information for financial reports
• Manage data entry tasks with precision
• Ensure timely collections for outstanding invoices
• Reconcile all entries to balance accounts
• Assist in remitting HST / GST
• Provide support during year-end audits
• Perform general office administration duties as required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expertise in Bank Reconciliations
• Strong bookkeeping skills
• Ability to perform efficient data entry tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Experience in handling Payroll
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
