About the Company

B&N Transmission opened its doors in March of 1977 at 309 Cumberland St. Ottawa as a two-bay garage. We are a family-owned and operated business with the goal of providing our customers with good, honest service at competitive prices. To service our customers better, we relocated to 1086 Gladstone Ave. in 1980. Since that time, we have expanded to a five-bay, two-story facility with a remanufacturing and parts department on the second floor. Job Summary

We are seeking a Transmission Rebuilder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with overhauling and rebuilding automatic transmission. This role involves dismantling, diagnosing the cause of failure, and rebuilding automatic and manual transmissions, ensuring they meet high quality standards.

Duties

• Disassemble and inspect transmission components for wear and damage.
• Rebuild transmissions using appropriate tools and techniques, following manufacturer specifications or aftermarket updates.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex transmission issues and provide
• solutions.
• Ordering, inventorying, and stocking of transmission parts.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Automatic Transmission Rebuilder for ALL MAKES and MODELS.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive transmissions.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry advancements is a plus.
