Are you a First Nations, Metis, or Inuit professional with experience in audit?

We're looking for you to join our team as an Audit Manager, Canadian Banking Audit in Toronto, ON.

As the Manager, you will work with Senior Managers and Directors in Canadian Banking Audit to assess internal controls within business units, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and best practices.

Key responsibilities include participating in or leading audits of low to medium complexity, executing audit activities, identifying root causes, and reporting findings to management.

You will also ensure audit reports are completed to high standards within set timelines and support specific projects or investigations as needed.

This role also focuses on professional development, fostering a high-performance team environment, and ensuring adherence to Scotiabank’s values and operational controls.

  • Strong oral / written communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in a related field
  • Experience in Retail Banking, Global Operations, Audit, Regulatory body or related experience
  • Familiarity with the operations and regulatory frameworks of retail, small business, and commercial banking in Canada
  • Skilled in applying risk-based auditing standards, practices, techniques, and methodologies to conduct and review audits
  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in the use of data analytics or visualization tools
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
