We are seeking an experienced restoration Estimator. The ideal candidate will have expertise in construction estimating and project management. If you have a passion for building and pricing projects accurately, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities :
Estimating the loss and reconstruction of residential and commercial water, fire, wind, mold, and asbestos restoration projects using Xactimate software.Preparing and interpreting sketches for estimating purposesWork closely with Project Managers and Coordinators to ensure scope of work and uploads are completed in a timely manner.Prepare materials, labor and equipment cost estimations necessary to successfully carry out loss and reconstruction projects.Prepare and maintain a list of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.Prepare estimates by calculating complete scope of work.Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures.Review all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quote.Requirements :
Highly organized self-starter who is able to work independentlyPatience in working with a diverse clientelePersonable with ability to effectively communicate both in verbal and written formMathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do material and labor estimates.Confident in the decision making processAble to work with limited supervisionAbility to recognize and solve problems with minimal supervisionAbility to handle stressful situations and work well under pressure and tight timelinesSolid understanding and working knowledge of various insurance carrier estimating protocolsEffectively work with customers, adjusters, sub-contractors and employees at all levels of the organizationAbility to prioritize and meet all assigned time linesStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.)Excellent attention to detailCustomer focused - respond promptly to customer needs.Receptive to change - can adapt to changing circumstances.Experience :
Minimum 5 year’s work experience working as an Estimator and / or Project Manager in the restoration and / or construction industryIntermediate to advanced proficiency of Xactimate / Xactanalysis softwareConstruction knowledge would be considered a definite assetJoin us as an Estimator and be part of a dynamic team where your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects.
