Job description

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager the Cardiology Technician will work closely with the cardiologists and staff.

Accountabilities :

  • Daytoday performance of cardiac diagnostics testing

Qualifications :

  • Graduate of a recognized cardiology technician program
  • Current registration with Cardiology Technologists Association of Ontario / Canadian Association of Cardiology Technologists required
  • Recent experience in all diagnostic cardiology modalities (holter monitoring and scanning event recording stress testing ECG and ambulatory blood pressure)
  • Fluent in English (reading writing speaking and comprehension)
  • Working knowledge of the Meditech information system (ancillary application is preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • Excellent attendance punctuality and work record
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Demonstrated organizational critical thinking and problemsolving skills required
  • Demonstrated commitment to patientfocused care required
  • Highly motivated selfdirected responsible and accountable individual required
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
  • May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
  • Must demonstrate Oslers Values of Respect Excellence Service Compassion Innovation and Collaboration

    • Additional Information :

    Hours : Currently Days 8 and 12 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

    SALARY :

    Minimum : $36.55 per hour

    Maximum : $41.40 per hour
