Role Summary
Reporting to the Canadian Vice President of Sales, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting the regional sales team initiatives through a combination of vendor administration / relationship management, processing sales orders, proposal building and RFP completion.
We are looking for a confident and motivated individual who is interested in a sales growth opportunity. The candidate will be responsible for educating, uncovering, qualifying and following Teknicor sales processes to support business opportunities to completion.
Role Responsibilities
- Builds relationships with customers based on knowledge of Teknicor’s technology, products, and services.
- Working closely with our Account Executives in support of RFP completion.
- Makes outgoing customer calls or cold calls to build client pool.
- Learn, understand & articulate our offered products and services; service description; value proposition; target market(s).
- Effectively prioritizes multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met.
- Works under general direction, seeks assistance as needed.
- Opportunity to manage smaller accounts directly in the Healthcare vertical.
- Adjusts to multiple demands and shifting priorities; accepts responsibility for results of actions.
- Supports with customer configuration / proposal ; including calculations and accurate quotations.
- Coordinate transactional meetings and conference calls.
- Financial business case development.
- Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone;
maintaining proposal support databases.
- Coordinates closely with entire internal sales group to align solution design with customers’ business requirements or updates.
- Maintain proficiencies in partner tools, websites, and programs.
- Coordinate vendor deal registrations, as needed.

Role Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant IT sales experience or equivalent IT education / background experience.
- University or college degree required.
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Possess high energy, maintain a persistent mind-set, enthusiasm, and be extremely goal oriented.
- Flexible working hours.
- Strong probing, problem solving & consultative skills to the team.
- Strong Financial Acumen.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
