Position Summary
BCIT’s in-house Auxiliary Trades Support Services is looking for high caliber, dynamic and flexible individuals who have the skills and ability to work within the Institute in a variety of temporary assignments. Duties may include labour work, general maintenance and mechanical work. Employees may also work as a tool room attendant and first aid attendant.
This competition is on-going with opportunities for part-time or full-time hours of work. Duties & Responsibilities DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Serving our workforce at our various campuses, placements may vary from a few hours to several months in duration. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial to being successful in a temporary role. We provide support where employees are absent due to sick leave, vacation, or to assist with heavy workloads. Due to the varying demand for services, there may be breaks between assignments, we therefore cannot guarantee ongoing employment. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS :
