As part of the Regions West Marketing team, you will be responsible for working alongside leadership, evolving the account management program, and implementing best-in-class account management practices. The role will require working directly with the Regions West Area Marketing Director, Marketing team and Lead Partners.

What you will do

Account Planning and Management

  • Manage an account portfolio of 2-3 priority accounts, including detailed relationship matrices and plans, industry and account business issues, and an ongoing pipeline of opportunities.
  • Understand priorities on key account management goals and work with the team to implement strategic growth goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate the development, strategy, and execution for both internal meetings and external key client deliverables.
  • Track, measure, and report regularly on regional and national financial results and activities against goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate the strategic account management process to identify opportunities and take action.
  • Co-develop and execute account-specific growth strategies.
  • Share best practices across accounts.
  • Actively support the execution of the firm's client feedback process and incorporate results into account strategy.

Relationship Management

  • Facilitate relationship building, planning, and execution with key stakeholders in the portfolio.
  • Work with the team to develop and track the client relationship strategy and plan touchpoint actions to strengthen relationships.
  • Deploy national campaigns and / or account-based marketing where relevant.
  • Develop an understanding of services and solutions to determine which initiatives would be of relevance and importance to key stakeholders / decision-makers.
  • Pipeline Management

  • Identify business opportunities for account teams through an understanding of client imperatives and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide support for the Request For Proposals (RFP) process and execution related to key accounts.
  • Collaborate with Proposal and Account teams to leverage KPMG resources as required on large opportunities.
  • Exceptional Client Service Excellence

  • Enable exceptional client service excellence by teaming with client service teams to be more responsive, insightful, and connected to the client.
  • Facilitate KPMG's client feedback program for accounts, including managing outcomes and future action plans.
  • Coordinate formal debriefs on proposals nationally and locally.
  • What you bring to the role

  • 5+ years' experience in account management; experience in professional services an asset.
  • University degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and professionals, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and RFP process preferred, marketing and proposal writing experience is an asset
  • Proven track record in achieving account intelligence and revenue growth
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial, market, and client data.
  • Skilled in facilitating effective meetings and influencing stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of content marketing, strategic positioning, thought leadership, and relationship development in a professional services context.
  • Highly creative and innovative with a strong grasp of existing and emerging digital technologies.
  • Demonstrated background in managing projects, from strategy to execution.
  • Proficient with MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
