The Pastry Cook will work alongside the Pastry Chefs to prepare a daily assortment of mouthwatering pastries and other baked goods.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare season and bake food as directed meeting special dietary instructions as required.
- Become proficient at creating all varieties of pastries and baked goods including but not limited to cakes breads cookies scones and desserts.
- Become proficient at creating allergy or diet sensitive pastries.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain assigned station and overall kitchen through practicing good safety and sanitation.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
