Assistant Merchandiser

A garment manufacturer based in Burnaby B.C., producing knitted casual and activewear for Canada to Worldwide, we are now seeking a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Merchandiser with a keen interest in the garment industry to support and assist our merchandising team.

Job duties :

• Assist the merchandising team in preparing customer orders.
• Arranging and processing fit samples.
• Ensure products deliver consistent fit and quality to customer satisfaction.
• Respond to customer enquiries and complaints.
• Some administrative tasks.
• Stay up to date with legislation / requirements on textiles, clothing and labelling posed by the government and customers.

Skills & requirements :

Possesses strong mathematical skills and can multitask.

Details-oriented with good organizational skills.

Able to work independently as well as a team player.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in using MS Office applications.

Fluency in English and knowing Cantonese is an asset.

Knowledge of textiles and clothing is an asset.

A minimum of one year of related experience is required.
