Job Type : Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm CST

We are a video production company specializing in faith-based storytelling for nonprofits and churches. Our mission is to craft compelling narratives that inspire, uplift, and create a meaningful impact for our clients. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a dedicated Video Editor to join our team and help us scale. This role is perfect for someone passionate about storytelling, proficient in video editing tools, and looking to make a difference through faith-based content.

Responsibilities

Edit interviews, talking heads, and mini-documentary style videos with precision and creativity.
Craft compelling narratives from raw footage, emphasizing strong storytelling principles.
Collaborate with the team to align video edits with the creative vision and project expectations.
Ensure high-quality output, adhering to deadlines and project goals.
Adapt editing workflows from Adobe Suite to DaVinci Resolve as needed.

Qualifications

Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (preferred) or Adobe Creative Suite.

Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience, ideally with interviews and documentary-style content.

Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.

Experience with faith-based content or a willingness to engage deeply with the subject matter.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute creative input to projects.

Full-time availability with a commitment to deadlines and quality standards.

Strong proficiency in English.

Soft Skills & Expectations

Strong sense of storytelling and the ability to bring cohesive storylines together from interviews / documentaries.

A collaborative and easygoing nature, with the ability to work with kindness and patience.

Flexibility, as the work is project-based but has some consistency.

Contractors will be tasked with editing and shoots as needed.
