Tandem is recruiting for a FULL-TIME POSITION as a ROBOT TECHICIAN SPECIALIST with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to support our clients’ projects in our WINDSOR, ON LOCATION. Minimum 5 years of experience in robot programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance in manufacturing or industrial automation. Hands-on experience with ABB and FANUC robots preferred. Strong knowledge of robot programming, calibration, troubleshooting, and motion control. Proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, including PLC integration and sensor feedback. Ability to diagnose and resolve robotic system errors and faults efficiently. Experience with computer systems, networking, and industrial communication protocols. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Ability to document system modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting processes. Familiarity with industry safety standards and compliance regulations. Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines, multiple priorities and fluctuating and conflicting schedules Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must have superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task with multiple projects Responsibilities and Duties : The ROBOT TECHNICIAN SPECIALIST is responsible for, but not limited to the following : Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robots and automated production systems. Program, operate, and optimize ABB and FANUC robots for efficient production processes. Diagnose and resolve robotic system issues related to electrical, electronic, and mechanical components. Work with computer systems, sensors, and feedback mechanisms to ensure optimal robot performance. Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades to minimize downtime. Ensure robotic systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Document robotic system modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting steps. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance automation efficiency. Continuously improve robotic processes to increase productivity and system reliability.
