4Sight Search Solutions is currently recruiting a Coffee Technician for a successful and growing specialty coffee retailer / distributor in Milton.

Our client offers industry specific training, a fun and progressive work culture, competitive wage structure based upon performance and a comprehensive benefit package for the right person.  This is a great position for someone mechanically inclined with a love for and interest in coffee products.

Hours of Work : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. Overtime is a possibility.

Rate of Pay : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The higher wage will require industry experience.

Benefits : Available after 3 months.

Vacation :   2 weeks during the first year. 3 weeks after first year.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics and repair of home or commercial espresso machines, coffee brewers, and grinders.
  • Adjust and replace ports and components of equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues to customer satisfaction.
  • Completion of work order documents within company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical skills (i.e. handyman or mechanic) is required.
  • An interest and / or knowledge of coffee products is a strong asset.
  • Experience repairing espresso machines, coffee brewers and grinders is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (not repetitive or constant).
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Demonstrable work ethic and reliability.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
